Well its only 11am on Christmas day for me, I can hear the family talking loudly in the background about shirts and socks which is followed by my Nan cackling.

Hey Chicks,
Just a quick query for you. I’m wondering if any of you perhaps wanted to get together for a Christmas dinner/lunch/breakfast/picnic/etc? I know some of the girls won’t be making it to the Basin so perhaps this may be an opportunity for us to share some christmas loving together.

Although I’m aware for some of you Christmas time is very busy, work/families/last minute shopping.
Most of us are fairly broke at christmas so we could go on the cheap. *shrugs*
Just a thought.

For those of you who had not heard of the grapevine Seagull Liz has wandered off to the land of New Zealand to spend time trekking up mountains, role playing scene’s from Lord of the Rings and some quality time with a sheep named ‘Daisy’ (let us never mention Daisy again).

Apparently she’ll be gone for a bit over 2 weeks, lucky bastard.
Now lets all be jealous, I am.

After Saturday, I realised that even though we have separate lives now… put us together in one room and what do we have??? OLD TIMES and a GREAT FRIENDSHIP/BOND i dont think will ever be broken….

So I propose this… dinner/drinks/catch ups become a regular part of our lives…. So lets do it!!

Every few weeks, we should organise a gathering and just chill out together, in saying that, these gatherings need to vary in place and times, so as to cater to everyones needs and hopefully one day, suit everybody!!

I look forward to our next catch up!! And lets not leave it so long this time…

Hey Wenches,

My birthday event is nearing the horizon, and therefore I have made firmer plans.
So as I said previously its on Sat the 6th of Oct.
We’ll probably meet at my house in Surry Hills first (around 6 - 6:30pm), so those who may drive have somewhere to park their cars or those catching the train can wander over (i live about 5 mins away from central).
Then together as a merry band head towards ‘The Rocks’ to a nice Italian Restaurant, for those of you who have dined out with us previously at Blackbirds expect the costs relating to the Italian Place to be around the same -perhaps a tad more. $40-$45 (depending on what you order) should cover any meal costs.
However don’t worry about drinks, I’ll provide those. At my house after dinner (I have already invested in a cocktail book to ensure variety!). Although if you are inclined to bring something no one will raise a stink I imagine. After the drinks should any of you need to crash you’re welcome to claim a couch or spare bed around the house.

In summary (For those of you who can’t be bothered to read my ramblings!):
Arrive - Cathy’s House (Surry Hills) 6pm - 6:30pm
Off to Restaurant
Back to Cathy’s -Drinks and such

Think of it as a casual get-together, seagull love.

Righty-o guys,

The dates of the Basin are 31st December, 1st, 2nd and come home on the 3rd January!
So we leave REALLY early on Monday and come home on the Thursday.

4 Days, 3 Nights should long enough to get sick of each other =P

Can you girly’s let me now ASAP whether if you can come or not so I can book it.

Hello ladies,
Alas! It seems none of us are escaping the aging process and my birthday is on the horizon! Begone I say!
Anyway, to celebrate the event I had a few things generally planned.
These general things at this moment consist mostly of a pretty casual lazy but booze friendly evening, more specifically I intend for those who can attend to go out to dinner at one of the nice restaurants in the Rocks and then frolic back to mine for cocktails aplenty! Like I said, casual! (you all mostly know I’m not a birthday party fiend like some of you crazies.)

So yeah, thats the general plan at the moment. It will probably be held on Sat the 6th of Oct, in the evening as I said previously and should any of you need to crash at my place you’re welcome (although forewarning would be appreciated as I may need to give some thought as to where I will ’store’ people should multiple people need to crash).

If you can come I would be mightily happy indeed!

hi girlies!

Juggs was trying to plan a 21st birthday party for me, but it all fell on its arse lol. The place he tried to book out was double booked in the end, and i only just found out about it now, so very late notice, im organising the party myself now lol.

So, 25th august, who is free? Ill be having drinks somewhere in the city, location to be confirmed at this stage. To make up for it, we might be hiring a hotel room and having a party there, so if anyone needs to crash, its a hotel room, its made for it lol.

Sorry about the sketchy details and lateness of it all, im annoyed too, trust me (stares at stupid venue)

Also, jess will be attending, shes going out with one of my mates who is hooking us up with the new party location. Shes not so bad these days, i reckon shes alright, we’ve been going out on weekends and shes been pretty fun and normal.

So id love for you guys to be there too Ill post more details as i get them.
